The Saturnales exposition series was curated by par Simon Zaborski and Julia Borderie. It has been composed of three shows that fell near the period of solstice. The expositions were framed in such a way as to allude to the old pagan celebration of Saturnalia which was a Roman celebration that included much indulgence in the December solstice period.
Each exhibition featured many artists who showed drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, live music and video. The spirit of the exhibitions was to create a space in which many different communities of artists and spectateurs could come together and celebrate current and future projects.
